The Harlequin Ladybird is an invasive species that was first introduced to the UK in 2004 that quickly became one of the most common species of ladybirds. The Harlequin Ladybird larvae can be identified by the 4 orange spikes in the central lower half of the body. The Harlequin Ladybird has a unique diet, as it predates on other ladybirds.
