Roe Deer (Capreolus capreolus) buck, Insh Marshes RSPB Reserve. Only the bucks (males) have antlers, with up to three points on each. Roe deer vary in coat colour throughout the year, being most obvious in the summer when their coats are bright rusty red. In winter, their coats turn a dull, slate grey colour.
