Dunnock (Prunella modularis), taken by David Palmar. Adult Dunnocks typically have a bright red eye and have slate grey on the head and neck which is not present in young birds. Juveniles usually have a dark "muddy" eye and the overall appearance of the plumage is brown and heaviliy streaked.
