Twinflower (Linnaea borealis), a plant in the family Caprifoliaceae. It is a staple of Scotlands ancient Caledonian forests, most commonly found in North East Scotland. However since the 1970s, its numbers have declined rapidly. Due to this it has been of interest for conservation in and around the Cairngorms National Park. Taken near Grantown-on-Spey, by David Palmar
