Eigg - Cleadale cliffs
Heather or Ling (Calluna vulgaris) and Bell Heather (Erica cinerea) on the scree slopes below the Cleadale cliffs, Eigg. The cliffs consist of Tertiary basalt formed by volcanic action about 60 milliion years ago.
