European Aspen (Populus tremula) sapling at Insh Marshes. European Aspen grows in clonal colonies, particularly in ancient woods and heaths and also on well-drained soil near rivers. The Swallow Prominent (Pheosia tremula) is a moth of the Notodontidae family. Identified by their cream coloured forewings with a black and tan coloured band running along the inner edge.
