Pond creation by Froglife's Living Waters Project resulted in this biodiverse habitat which encourages the development of amphibian populations at Eastfield, NW of the Arria sculpture and the M80, in Cumbernauld Community Park. The ponds are in a site next to trees, where amphibians can find shelter when not in the water, especially during the winter when hibernating or resting.
