European Aspen (Populus tremula), taken by David Palmar in the tree nursery at the Trees for Life rewilding centre, Dundreggan, Invernessshire. Aspen is a species of native tree which occurs locally in Scotland. It spreads by cloning itself, so what looks like several trees can be the one plant.
