Monkshood or Wolfsbane (Aconitum napellus), widespread, found in mountain meadows of the Northern Hemisphere. All parts of the plant, especially the roots, contain toxins. Aconitine is the most dangerous of these toxins. Scanned from a slide taken by CE Palmar
