A Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) takes advantage of the safety offered by a Biohaven - a floating island on Hogganfield Loch, Glasgow. These islands were partly the result of action by the Friends of Glasgow's Local Nature Reserves, and are designed for the safety of roosting and breeding birds.
