Loch Lomond - RSPB Loch Lomond
Damage from Fallow Deer (Dama dama) to newly planted trees at RSPB Loch Lomond, despite the installation of tree tubes, which the deer pulled up to eat the young tree shoots within. Such damage should be picked up, along with less obvious signs, by a herbivore impact assessment, which is carried out by conservation organisations as an aid to habitat and wildlife management.
