RMS Queen Elizabeth in dry dock, Greenock in 1966. Constructed in the mid 1930s by John Brown and Company at Clydebank. RMS Queen Elizabeth was a Royal Mail Ship (RMS). She was sold to a Hong Kong business to convert her into a floating university. She caught fire during construction and capsized. She was partially scrapped where she lay.
