Coll - Arinagour
The whalebone arch erected above Arinagour pier, Coll, is actually a replica erected in 2006. The originals from a Fin whale washed up in 2004 are in the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. Lunga in the Treshnish Isles can be seen through the arch.

Demolition in 2003 of the last building of Meadowside Granary, belonging to the Clyde Port Authority, formerly on the site in Partick of what is now the new Glasgow Harbour development. The building was made of reinforced concrete, which was ground up and reused for building material.
