Stockingfield Bridge under construction over the Forth and Clyde and Glasgow branch canals in November 2021. It is a cable-stayed, twin-span suspension bridge which will connect pedestrians, cyclists and wheelers with the communities of Maryhill, Ruchill and Gilshochill, and enable continuous movement along the canals without leaving the towpath or encountering steps or danger from traffic. Nethybridge and Dulnain Bridge
Chickweed Wintergreen (Trientalis europaea), best seen in June and July. Also known as the Arctic Starflower, it grows in woodlands in the north of England and Scotland. Its common name is misleading - it is neither a chickweed nor a wintergreen, but a member of the primrose family. Here is is growing in Curr Woods, near Dulnain Bridge in Speyside.
