Construction of the Millport Coastal Flood Protection Scheme, which involves building stepped revetments onshore, and offshore rock breakwaters. Some of the offshore rocks have been joined by a new breakwater which has a narrower harbour entrance, leading to a calmer sea in Millport Bay.
