BR Ivatt Mogul Class 2MT number 46512, was built in Swindon in 1952. She is named ‘E V Cooper, Engineer’ after the founding director of the Strathspey Railway, Mr Eric Cooper, who was responsible for her restoration and return to service. In 1982 she was moved to Strathspey railway which runs between Aviemore, Boat of Garten and Broomhill. Photo taken by David Palmar.
