Common Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea), taken near Grantown-on-Spey by David Palmar. Although this plant is toxic to ingest if consumed by humans directly, when professionally extracted it can be made into a medicine used for congestive heart failure and high blood pressure. It is also a valuable source of nectar for moths, bumblebees and honeybees.
