Red deer (Cervus elaphus) stag with at leat 10 points on his antlers, Loch Eport, North Uist. Red deer are Britain's largest land mammal. When fully grown males (stags) weigh between 90 to 190kg and stand at around 1.07 to 1.37m tall at the shoulder.

Barpa Langais, a neolithic chambered cairn, North Uist. Built about 5000 years ago, it was a burial place and a focus for community ritual. It is the best preserved example of a chambered cairn in the Outer Hebrides, and is about 25 metres in diameter.
