Light-bellied Brent goose (Branta bernicla), Tràigh Mhor, Gott Bay. On Tiree, flocks of up to 200 are mostly seen on migration in September-October and April-May, between their breeding grounds in Canada and their wintering sites in Ireland.

Group of Dunlin (Calidris alpina), Tràigh Mhor, Gott Bay, Tiree. Dunlin breed in modest numbers on Tiree, with some evidence that recent declines have been stabilised. Hundreds or thousands are seen during migration, especially in April and May. Dunlin lose their black belly in winter.
