Death's-head Hawk-moth (Acherontia atropos), found dead at St Monans harbour in Fife in late September 2016, and brought to the Butterfly Conservation Scotland (BCS) members' day at Battleby, Perthshire. It is not native to Britain, but is the largest moth to be found in Britain, a few usually migrating from Southern Europe each year.
