Reconstruction of a research cabin in the Ark, the original Millport Marine Station (1885-1900) founded by Dr David Robertson, FLS, FGS, The Cumbrae Naturalist, 1806 - 1896, after whom the museum was named and whose collection it houses. FSC Millport is now run by the Field Studies Council.
