Greenshank (Tringa nebularia), Grey plover (Pluvialis squatarola) and Redshank (Tringa totanus); Salum; Tiree. Small numbers of Grey plover are seen on passage in Tiree. Greenshank is a regular migrant in small numbers. Tiree supports 600-800 breeding pairs of Redshank - nationally important numbers - and they are seen all year round with several hundred birds in winter.
