Daffodils (Narcissus sp.) are hardy perennials, that return each year to herald the coming of spring with their bright colours. This photo was taken at Gallanach, Coll. The field full of Daffodils was deliberately planted and is left over from an attempt at selling daffodil bulbs in the 1950s. The heads were removed when in full bloom, leaving the bulbs to be harvested later in the season.
