RMS Queen Elizabeth in dry dock, Greenock in 1966. Constructed in the mid 1930s by John Brown and Company at Clydebank. RMS Queen Elizabeth was a Royal Mail Ship (RMS). She was sold to a Hong Kong business to convert her into a floating university. She caught fire during construction and capsized. She was partially scrapped where she lay. Common dolphin (Delphinus delphis) and Harbour porpoise (Phocoena phocoena) swimming together in the Firth of Clyde. The dolphin has a larger curved, swept back dorsal fin and the porpoise has a small, almost equilateral triangular fin. In the background is Portencross Castle on the coast of North Ayrshire.
