The Poplar Lutestring (Tethea or) is a moth of the family Drepanidae. Characterised by its four cross-lines, or 'lutestrings' on the inner part of the forewing, this species sometimes shows a slight purplish tinge when fresh. The Peach Blossom (Thyatira batis) is a moth of the family Drepanidae. Recognised by the pink blotches against its soft brown background. It is fairly common in woodland habitats throughout Britain except the extreme north.
