A beaver lodge, Loch Barnluasgan, taken by David Palmar. These structures consist of mud, leaves, and sticks and are used as a family home for beavers. After a large mound of debris has been constructed, the adult beavers will swim underwater and create an entrance by chewing a hole beneath.
