More common in south Scotland, the Butterbur (Petasites hybridus) prefers damp ground. It has large leaves and small pinkish flowers packed together. Mostly seen in spring. This photo was taken at Corkerhill, Pollok. Scanned from a slide taken by CE Palmar in 1974.
