Kidney Vetch (Anthyllis vulneraria), RSPB Balranald, North Uist. Kidney Vetch, a member of the Pea family, provides a good source of nectar for Bumblebees. Its woolly appearance and small yellow flowers make it easy to identify. Kidney Vetch is often seen on sand dunes and machair in western Scotland. It flowers from June onwards, and is one of the plants which supports the Great Yellow Bumblebee.
